  •  The lantern was a festive treat.

In the 20th round of the Premier League, the Sheffield United team planned the greatest surprise as they celebrated with 2:1 against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It could already be seen in the introductory third of the first half that the lantern player from Sheffield came to the field of 'red devils' to outplay.

In the 17th minute, Billy Sharp was the first to try, but David De Gea responded incredibly well.

Just six minutes later, when Kin Bryan was the highest on the hop after the corner, the home team's net shook, sending the ball to the left post.

They went on holiday with this outcome, and in the 64th minute, when Harry McGuire scored in the same manner, the reversal of outcomes resulted.

The home defender leaped over the keeper and returned the match to 0. Alex TeljeΕ‘ took a corner.

For just 10 minutes, as the guests scored again, this outcome remained in place.

It was done this time by Oliver Burke, whose shot was redirected by one of the United players on the way to the net, enough to annoy De Gea and spark confusion in the hosts' ranks.

With this loss, United allowed the leader and city rival City, with a victory on Saturday against their executioner today, to hit plus four on the table.

With their second win in the last three rounds, the visitors from Sheffield come three points behind the penultimate West Bromwich Albion, but they still have a great deal of work to do to survive.

Brighton is pulling out by as much as 10 points, so it's just a good impression for now to win Old Trafford.

Everton and Leicester tied 1:1 in the second game of the day, played at Goodison Park in Liverpool.

After half an hour of the contest, the host took the lead 1-0 with a goal by Hames Rodriguez, and Yuri Tillmans, whose shot bounced off the goalpost and ended up in Pickford's net, delivered the equalizer for the Leicester visitors.

Leicester struggled to use the mistake of United in this draw and missed it on the table, while Everton equalized with Tottenham in the sixth position and now both teams have 33 points each.
